This new collaboration is the softer counterpart to Eminem and Rihanna's smash single 'Love the Way You Lie,' which appeared on the rapper's epic album, 'Recovery.'
But this time, Ri-Ri takes the hook of Em's initial track and extrapolates it to tell her story from a broken-and-battered point of view:
"Now there's gravel in our voices, glass is shattered from the fight / In this tug of war, you'll always win, even when I'm right / Cause you feed me fables from your hand / With violet words and empty threats / And it's sick that all these battles are what keeps me satisfied."
The love/hate relationship is further emphasized by Eminem's aggressive verse that channels every bit of his explosive 'Recovery' track. Together, the two songs make the perfect pair.
