The acoustic ballad was originally co-written by Sheeran when he was 17 years old. The single allows the five-piece pop band to show off their voices as they trade vocals before coming together for several harmonies. The intimate track was written about Sheeran's ex-girlfriend, describing how one can appreciate and miss the 'little things' about someone. The song is definitely different than their upbeat first single 'Live While We're Young' and their biggest hit 'What Makes You Beautiful.' Yet, the song's sweet innocence will certainly have radio appeal and provides the band with a different, albeit strong vocal showcase.
'Take Me Home' will be released in the United States on November 13th. The highly anticipated second album from the band features a second track penned by Sheeran titled 'Over Again.' You can listen to 'Little Things' right now on AOL Radio's New Pop First.
