P!nk, 'Just Give Me a Reason' (Feat. Nate Reuss) -- New Song

P!nk teamed up with fun.'s lead singer Nate Ruess to write and record 'Just Give Me a Reason' for her sixth studio album, 'The Truth About Love.' The song is the third single off the album and was produced by Jeff Bhasker, who had worked with Ruess on Fun.'s grammy-nominated album, 'Some Nights.'

Originally, the two were just working together for a song-writing session, but P!nk thought the song worked better as a duet. The two trade vocals in the love ballad which successfully sounds like a conversation between the two. Eventually, the simple, yet poignant, piano part picks up and is joined by upbeat drum beats. This powerful shift in the song is also joined by both artists singing together, which includes the emotional chorus. The song is perhaps P!nk's most effective vocal performance on her album and her voice is complimented well by the harmonies with Reuss. There is little doubt that these are two of the most powerful vocal artists in today's pop music and it's a treat to fans everywhere that they were able to produce such a catchy, love track. They sing together: "It's been written in the stars on our hearts/we're not broken/just bent we can learn to love again."

'The Truth About Love' reached number one in many countries, including the United States. The hit record also features songs with Eminem and Lily Allen. Take a listen to her latest collaboration right now on AOL Radio's New Pop First.
